it is because people are sometimes being hooked by their pride..but if we'll continue on being a righteous member of the true church we'll get through it..i know that God loves us..all we have to do is to return home to his kingdom..so..let's move forward!..neglect all the worldly things because it will only bring you nothing..Godspeed!.. So I need some help ,I have aready turned 20 and I think I am going to get the Melchisedek Priesthood And I really would like to be a missionary but Iám the only LDS IN MY FAMILY and I´ve got a full scholarship to study in a ggod universty.
So What should I do?

Great !! that you have plan to go on the mission.Coz you bring all spirit to God.And you get much blessing as well.Hmm Being a single member in the family it is very hard and full of temptation.And now u dn't know what should to do , go on the mission or continue study!!!.So first you should ask your parent do they allow you to go on the mission or not.And find out your family situation if absent you in the family 2 years not facing in trouble or not!!! Coz some family need children to help.Anyways for studying at University you can delay. And to make sure yourself also if you really want to go or not. Dn't go by seeing some one go , you go too.Please do it by your faith. Then you will got more blessing in your life, I promise.If your parent not allow you,please ask God for help and ask him if God want you to go or not..

You need to identify what is your priority at this time. With the choices you have, you cant possibly just dub into two things at the same time. Are you really set to go on a mission? iF YES then there would be no question needed to ask nor answered. You just have to just GO and made up your mind about telling those people concern that YOU ARE GOING ON A MISSION....
I can say that if you choose what's best for the LORD's work? Everything will fall into places...Pray and have faith!

I am an older, mom type person, and have been a member of this church for 35 years. I can tell you I have met HUNDREDS of people who regret that they did not go on a mission when they had the chance but I have NEVER met ANYONE who regretted going on a mission. A mission is the ONE AND ONLY time in your life when you are able to live one on one, 24/7, 365 with the Lord and the Holy spirit as the center of everything you do throughout the day.

Do NOT miss or pass up the opportunity to serve . Your family will be blessed abundantly while you are gone, even if they are not members. You should not deny them a chance at those blessings. Do you find this valuable?

regarding why our faith is strong sometimes and weak at others.......faith, testimony, commitment, is like a plant or a person. It has to be fed over and over and over. You cannot plug in your television or your computer for an hour on wednesday, then unplug it and expect it to work on friday. You have to stay plugged in. Do you find this valuable?
